How to choose a photo that prints beautifully

Your ornament is printed from the photo you upload, so the photo decides the result. A few minutes picking the right one makes all the difference.

Do

• Use the original file from your phone or camera — not a screenshot, not a photo of a photo.
• Good light, faces clear. Daylight or a bright room; faces should be sharp and not in shadow.
• Keep the subject in the middle with some space around it, so it fits the shape of the ornament.
• Larger is better. At least 1000 × 1000 pixels. JPG, PNG or HEIC up to 20 MB.

Avoid

• Heavy filters, stickers or text over the photo.
• Very dark, blurry or pixelated images.
• Group photos where faces are tiny.

What we do with it

We remove the background where the design calls for it, adjust brightness and colour for print, and place the photo into the design exactly as shown on the product page. If a photo cannot produce a good print we will email you before printing — your order is never printed from a photo we are not happy with.
